3 Reasons why you should have joined a SACCO a long time ago

There are many reasons why all of us should belong to a Saving and Credit Cooperative society (SACCO). Those of us who already belong to a SACCO will tell you for a fact that they are far much better and humane than banks - you can take that to the bank!



While most people claim that there are no SACCOs in their areas of expertise, the truth is that there is one for all of us, regardless of what we do for a living - unless, of course, you are a thief or something close to that.

It is interesting to note that some people say that those who belong to SACCOs are "old school folks", that these people have failed to grasp the need to move beyond cooperative societies and join banks. There is no gainsaying the fact that banks offer many more services compared to SACCOs but one must note that there is a personal touch in the services of SACCOs that lacks in banking.
